Pikes Peak From The Woodland Park Area
In April 2004, I took a drive along Rampart Range Road from Woodland Park and traveled on it all the way to Garden of the Gods. It was actually a fairly warm and sunny day, even though the photo above may look deceiving because of the snow on the peak and the leafless trees.
On Rampart Range Road near Woodland Park, there are two particularly scenic areas that are fantastic for photography Pikes Peak. You can't miss either of them! Just head west and follow the signs that point towards Garden of the Gods.
